Polish Artists Recreate Traditional Slavic Wreaths To Preserve The Tradition

Many traditions, having been part of human culture since the beginning of time have disappeared altogether or changed completely.

Thankfully, Polish photographer Ula Kóska and makeup artist Beata Bojda decided to recreate the beautiful garments and flower wreaths made and worn by Slavic women during festivals, wedding and funeral ceremonies and important celebrations such as Easter.

The stunning head wreaths were created out of paper by twisting it tightly into flowers and leaves, in the traditional Polish way.
